Buzzing with new ideas 24/7? Is your business idea related to music? Or maybe you plan to disrupt the industry with the next big thing? Perhaps you just want to establish your own studio or even produce a creative album. Whatever your concept is, we’re looking for music enthusiasts like you!
Disrupt!/Music!/ is coming to Amman to shake up the local music industry.
In a three-day workshop and competition powered by Mideast Creatives and locally organized by Feesheh for Music, Belbaleh, and Indiepush, we aim to fuel the growth of the Jordanian music industry by helping teams and individuals with innovative ideas turn their dreams into reality.
Who are we looking for?
Teams and individuals with unimplemented creative ideas related to music. Participants can include: artists, musicians, sound engineers, producers, tech developers, and business strategists who are interested in this field.
Priority of selection will be given to teams over individual applicants.
Selected applicants will attend the intensive workshop at ZINC (Zain Innovation Campus) located at the King Hussein Business Park on the weekend of the 24th, 25th, 26th of March, 2016. The workshop will include a number of training sessions by local and international trainers in the industry, focused on transforming ideas into business models.
Teams will work alongside mentors and industry professionals to develop a business model for their projects and pitch their ideas on the last day to a judging committee in a 3-minute pitch competition. The closing ceremony will include a live concert at Bala Feesh hosted at Kharabeesh office space at the King Hussein Business Park.
At the end of the 3-day workshop, a panel of jury members will select 3 winning projects based on their pitch and business idea.
The total amount of cash prizes is 6000 EUR. Other prizes from our partners will be announced soon.
